by Delta Marine

In spring this year, Seattle-based Delta Marine launched Arianna, the sixth motor yacht built by the US shipyard based on its extensively tested 50-metre platform. Designed for both tranquil cruising and voyages of discovery, it has a transoceanic range and can make crossings in complete safety.
Fully designed and engineered in-house by the Delta Design Group, Arianna was built entirely in composite and has a displacement hull with Quantum stabilisers. Under half load, the yacht’s displacement is 552 long tons, with gross tonnage of 780 ITC. The hull has a length of 164 feet, a beam of 34 feet and a maximum draught of less than 10 feet.
Equipped with two Caterpillar CAT 3512B engines, each supplying 1,650 BHP at 1,600 rpm, Arianna has a top speed of 16 knots and can maintain a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
At the economy cruising speed of 13 knots, the yacht has a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles.
In the hold, the fuel tanks have a total capacity of nearly 22,000 US gallons and the water tanks have a total capacity of 3,000 US gallons. Two Caterpillar CAT C6.6 generators, each supplying 125 kW, have been installed on board.
Arianna is at the top of the 50-metre yacht size class, standing out for both volume and exterior and interior area: there are more than 7,500 square feet of habitable space on its decks, which provide the perfect setting for intimate gatherings and formal dining.
Arianna’s interior layout accommodates up to 12 passengers in four guest staterooms, one children’s/guest stateroom and one Owner’s master stateroom, as well as up to 12 crew in four crew cabins, one engineer’s cabin and one captain’s cabin.
The Owner’s suite is located on the upper deck, featuring a stately lounge, a customized room for children or family members, a cozy master stateroom with a large spa bath and rain shower, and a private outdoor deck with an alfresco dining area.
On the main deck, the salon living area is equipped for relaxation and comfort, with areas for conversation and entertainment, while the salon dining area is arranged to offer a warm welcome, complete with a gorgeously crafted contemporary solid slab dining table with natural unfinished edges.
