Bel Abri

Dutch quality to the nth power, in both construction technique and the outstanding quality of the finishes. On the outside, curved, flowing lines form elegant, softly sculptured shapes. On the inside, a warm, luxurious atmosphere is created by a tasteful palette of precious woods complemented by sophisticated fittings and refined fabrics in the colours of the sea. Amels, the prestigious Dutch yacht builder and member of the colossal Damen Shipyards Group, is working at full tilt on numerous exclusive vessels currently under construction at its huge facilities. It’s a decidedly positive and extremely flattering situation, especially in view of the economic downturn on the global market over the last two years.
As evidence of the excellent state of health of the famous Vlissingen shipyard, a detailed portrait of the new luxury yacht Bel Abri is now featured in the current issue of Yacht Première.
Bel Abri is the sixth hull from the Limited Editions Amels 171 series, a premium semi-custom yacht range devised by the Dutch shipyard Amels.
At the same time, Bel Abri is also the first yacht from the Limited Editions Amels 171 range to be used for charter, and within just two weeks of delivery she was already fully booked for the summer season in the Mediterranean.
Just like the other Amels yachts that preceded her, Bel Abri was also delivered to its Owner ahead of schedule – it was launched and delivered on time and on budget in spring this year. After completing its maiden voyage in Norway against the striking backdrop of the coastal fjords, shown here in the beautiful photoshoot images that accompany these pages, Bel Abri successfully undertook an intense summer charter season cruising the waters of the Mediterranean.
This was finally followed by its debut in Monte Carlo in September, where it was officially presented at MYS 2010, the 20th Monaco Yacht Show, in suitable recognition of its great beauty. [...]
