One pleasant spring afternoon, the enchanting Belle Anna elegantly took to the warm waters of the Adriatic from the facilities of Italian shipyard ISAYACHTS. The yacht’s designers and their teams, together with employees of the shipyard, were at the light-hearted party to celebrate the launch, which was also attended by the Owner,
the Owner’s family and a few favoured friends.
The party went on right until the beginning of summer, culminating in the delivery ceremony, held by ISA Yachts well in advance of the contractual deadline. The Owner collected the new vessel personally from the facilities of the Italian shipyard and left straight away for the yacht’s maiden voyage, a holiday along the coasts of Croatia and Montenegro.
On their return from the cruise, the enthusiastic, highly positive feedback from the Owner and family duly rewarded the work of ISA Yachts, which was then able to proudly display the beautiful yacht at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show.
ISA 500.3, or Belle Anna
Preceded into the water by Papi du Papi, to which Yacht Première dedicated a full portrait in issue 25, Belle Anna is the third hull in the ISA 500 custom series of 50- metre displacement vessels. High resistance steel and light aluminium alloy were used for the new motor yacht’s hull and superstructure, respectively, as with the previous two vessels in the series.
Based on naval architecture developed by the Italian shipyard’s in-house technical team, the yacht has the advantage of the fully tried and tested 50-metre naval platform which has proven highly satisfactory for ISA.
The vessel’s main technical characteristics include excellent performance and extremely reduced consumption, combined with flawless sea keeping and complete safety in navigation.
Thanks to the sophisticated exterior design by Andrea Vallicelli, coordinated harmoniously with the family feeling that the shipyard has also used very successfully on the other models in the range, the motor yacht’s huge interior volume is concealed by a highly dynamic profile.
Belle Anna’s soft, essential, modern, sporty lines are elegantly highlighted by the impeccable two-tone paintwork featuring beige for the hull and ivory for the superstructure. Belle Anna’s external appearance is marked by a heavily accentuated bow rake, alongside a gunwale profile designed with an inverted curve.
The gunwale line descends gently towards the central sections of the bulwark before continuing straight to the aft section, fluidly accompanied by the linear outline of the side windows.
The entire front part of the superstructure primarily consists of the simple yet highly expressive spaces of two hoods that respectively cover the Owner’s suite and the wheelhouse.
The technical space in the prow has been set up to house the guest tender and a pair of waverunners in the open, while the deck area in front of the wheelhouse is laid out with two sofas. The wide side gangways on the main deck run alongside the windows of the salon, while an effect of continuity between the inside and the outside is provided by two sliding doors that open to allow the salon living area to link directly with the covered wheelhouse area.
From the wheelhouse, symmetrical twin flights of stairs provide an attractive functional solution, going down to the beach area and spectacularly framing a beach area with two sliding doors in curved glass. When the two doors are open, the inside space of the beach room becomes one with the outside area of the swimming platform, creating an uninterrupted panoramic view from the sofa to the horizon. During the evening and at night, the area is imaginatively lit indirectly using powerful underwater LEDs.
The garage for the main tender is located next to the beach room. Here the main tender is launched and recovered through a hatch that opens in the starboard bulwark. Going back up to the aft section of the upper deck, the outside part of the deck is laid out as an alfresco dining area with a large table, while, as with the main deck wheelhouse, the upper deck wheelhouse is also linked to the interior through sliding glass doors. In addition to these doors, the sky lounge also has further relaxing natural light from the large side windows. Going up once more, you reach the top deck: the sun deck. [...]
