by Custom Line - Ferretti Group and Studio Zuccon International Projects

For more than ten years, the renowned Italian shipyard Custom Line has been one of the Ferretti Group’s set of solid, dynamic companies. The Ferretti yard was founded by Norberto Ferretti in 1968. Over the past forty years it has achieved great results on the market, thanks to a succession of major commercial achievements. It has grown considerably and developed very well as a company. An intelligent scheme of strategic acquisitions beginning in the 1990s allowed the Ferretti Group to quickly expand and it currently comprises nine exclusive high-end brands. A rare, unique portfolio of nine brands among international shipbuilding’s finest: Ferretti Yachts, Phershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Aprea Mare, Mochi Craft, CRN and of course Custom Line. Each of them has left its mark on the history of yachting, becoming a top name in its specific sector. Each of them boasts technological excellence, top performance, and cutting-edge design. Nine successful brands, then, which continue to represent the best in luxury and tradition, style and innovation – in short, the best in every segment of international motor yachting. As a united group, they make Ferretti a world leader in the design and construction of luxurious vessels and sporting boats, while at the same time each unit has maintained its own strong identity and specific features that give the individual brands their own distinctive flavour. The complete diversification of the group’s products has proved a great way to express the concept of private luxury yachting in its myriad interpretations. In this way it meets the varied, new expectations of its clients and satisfies the different tastes and requirements of an increasingly knowledgeable and demanding public.
In fact, it is the client base that continues to decree the success of the Ferretti Group, with a very high level of satisfaction and customer loyalty. What’s more, the number of Owners coming to the group following experiences with the competition is an unmistakeable sign of the Group’s ongoing ability to rise to the challenge. The company’s policy of continuously improving its construction facilities and products continues to produce great results. It also continues with its strategy of always meeting and sometimes even anticipating delivery deadlines. Furthermore, the Ferretti Group is now present in 95 countries, thanks to its three direct representation bases in Europe, the US, and Asia. It has an international sales network of dealers, consisting of more than 85 distributors and operators who have been carefully chosen over the years for their professionalism and skill. These guarantee the Group’s clients a reassuring presence in marinas the world over.
What this means is that every Owner is able to find a reliable contact point wherever he may be, offering assistance and the supply of high quality services. This is another aspect that helps to bring the client closer to the yard, and gives Ferretti an edge over the competition. The Group is currently investing considerable amounts in completing its network and structure of services and customer care. At the same time, it has made huge investments in further strategic acquisitions, and in building large new production units. Historic yards that continue a glorious tradition of fine workmanship are now working alongside new, cutting-edge yards equipped with the latest technologies. The Ferretti Group is always looking towards new challenges, while remaining a firm believer in its original strategies in a market that is expanding constantly. The Group’s turnover has grown quickly, achieving a series of record performances. Forecasts for the future are excellent, proving the Group’s great strength. The impressive figures show a company that is shooting its way to the stop, having reached major milestones and now ready to reach more. It is particularly interested in developing new emerging markets, and therefore also has medium and long term vision allowing it to pursue new opportunities for each of the Group’s companies to grow. This unfailing commitment has taken the Ferretti Group to the very top of international shipbuilding, further strengthening its leadership. [...]
