Delivered to its Owner’s at the beginning of the year, three months ahead of schedule, the new mega motor yacht Imagine is the largest vessel built to date by Amels in its successful Limited Editions Series – the semi custom range by the Dutch shipyard.

Imagine is the first build of the Amels 212’ model and also the

11th vessel in the Limited Editions Series, while the second Amels 212’ build is currently in the final construction phases in a huge 140-metre covered dock, and will take to the water in spring next year.

Right from its first worldwide presentation and appearance on the international market, the innovative Limited Editions Series semi-custom range launched by Amels immediately obtained universal approval and enormous success.
This is fully confirmed by the numerous builds in progress and the vessels previously delivered. These include Bel Abri, an Amels 171’, presented in a full portrait in issue 17 of Yacht Première last year. In the authoritative opinion of Rob Luijendijk, Managing Director of Amels, the basis for the continuous success enjoyed by all the models in the Limited Editions Series is the convinced approval of Amels’ clients, who have expressed clear appreciation for its flawless combination of tried and tested reliability, high quality and rapid delivery.
“The success of the Limited Editions Series concept has firmly established Amels as the market leader in the premium semi-custom segment,” says Rob Luijendijk, “We pioneered the concept with the Amels 171’ and Amels 177’, and now we are expanding the range to the new Amels 212’ and soon the Amels 242’.”
However, as is right and proper, we will return to focusing on the first build of the Amels 212’. After delivery, Imagine headed south, to arrive in Palma, Mallorca, in April. Under the skilled management of the exclusive charter broker Fraser Yachts and highly professional and motivated crew which work as a great team, the luxurious vessel became the star of its own prestigious, intensive charter schedule. As a result, the vessel successfully spent the summer season sailing the warm waters of the Mediterranean, while the winter season will see it cruising the colourful Caribbean. However, before leaving the Mediterranean to cross the Atlantic Ocean on the way to the Caribbean, Imagine will be officially presented and exhibited at the Port Hercules quayside in Monte Carlo, at its debut during the 21st MYS Monaco Yacht Show 2011, which will take place in September this year.
