Born in the United States of America and made for the international luxury market. A motor yacht with elegant, modern exteriors and with interiors featuring simple lines in a minimal, contemporary style. Her technical design is as faultless as her aesthetics, for an ideal home on the water, custom-made for her Owner.
Christensen Shipyards is one of America’s finest luxury yacht builders, and it continues to work hard producing exclusive motor yachts built with strong US pride, inspired by the potent charisma of Dave Christensen (CEO) and the energetic dynamism of Joe Foggia, the company President. Having spent many years focusing on the challenging domestic market, achieving excellent results with its American clientele, Christensen Yachts has begun making major changes to its products, so as to approach a new international clientele just as successfully. Having achieved some excellent results so far, the yard is now ready to go further and take on the competition at international level. It is thus continuing to implement its plan of action, which involves swift, confident expansion into new markets outside the US.
As part of this new corporate direction and interest in the global market, Christensen Shipyards’ future plans include a more direct focus on the brand itself, by being more involved in important international boat shows and prestigious international events. Christensen Shipyards will therefore be attending the world’s most exclusive yacht shows over the next few years, presenting its latest yachts and projects. What better way to provide tangible promotional support for the brand, allowing potential new clients to get to know the yard’s excellent quality at first hand. The yard has stepped onto the international market with its impressive Christensen Custom Series, which has been especially designed to meet the standards of the world’s most demanding, expert yacht owners. The series comprises exclusive yachts conceived to satisfy personal wishes and preferences. A number of units from the Christensen Custom Series have already taken to the water, some of which have been featured in Yacht Première: after Lady Joy (157 ft / 47.8 m), described in a lengthy article two years ago in issue number 7, we also featured the 160 ft (48.8 m) Odessa, previewed when still under construction in a detailed article published last year in issue number 11. Here Yacht Première takes another look at Odessa, now that the boat has been launched, completed and delivered. [...]
