The Superconero 50 M is due to be launched at the beginning of next year. This full displacement super yacht is currently at the production facilities of CRN, the well known Italian shipyard that is now part of the Ferretti Group, and which specialises in the design and construction of leisure vessels in steel and aluminium with lengths from 40 metres / 130 feet to 100 metres / 330 feet.
The new super yacht now under construction, which until its imminent delivery will be identified purely with the yard code – hull number 136 – is a vessel with gross tonnage below the 500 GT limit and has a hull in high-strength steel and a superstructure in light aluminium alloy. Regarding the design of the Superconero 50 M, the naval architecture and marine engineering were developed by CRN’s Technical Office, while the exterior design was created by Italian designers Zuccon International Project. The interior design was also devised by Zuccon International Project in association with the CRN Interiors & Design Office. Externally, the yacht has a contemporary aesthetic, but one whose composition is classically inspired. The yacht’s name itself also points to the same classical inspiration, as Superconero 50 M is a direct reference to the historic “Superconero” series of motor yachts created by the Ancona-based shipyard in the 1960s.
However, apart from her design with lines that are for the most part traditional, or at least follow tradition, the new Superconero 50 M is a compilation of all the major cutting-edge solutions that CRN has invented and offered on the market, always with resounding success. To give just a few examples, there is the balcony that can be used even when the yacht is underway, the foldable terrace that opens out when at anchor in the roads, and most importantly the innovative beach club and the tender garage with its floodable recess that turns a technical space into an extra area that merges with the beach club. With its generous dimensions, the new Superconero 50 M can offer huge external areas, both covered and uncovered, and extensive interior spaces with large floor-to-ceiling windows to ensure copious quantities of natural light and constant physical and visual continuity with the external environment and the marine panorama. On board the vessel, the design of the interior furnishings is inspired by Art Nouveau stylistic elements which create sinuous, fluid lines that flow without a break through all the interiors, bringing in elements of the furniture and details of the decor and characterising every piece and detail with softly curved shapes. The new Superconero 50 M pairs the luxurious elegance of this exclusive decorative style with a layout designed to afford the utmost comfort, accommodating up to 10 passengers in one master stateroom and four guest staterooms, and up to nine crew in one captain’s cabin and four crew cabins.
On the sun deck, there is a sunbathing area that can be fitted out with sun beds to aft, while forward the sunbathing area is laid out with sun pads and has a hydromassage pool. The centre of the deck is protected by a large hard top, featuring a lounge area and an alfresco dining area, as well as a bar and barbecue. Outside, forward on the upper deck, there is a sunbathing area laid out with sun pads and chairs, while to aft the space protected by the overhanging deck above includes an alfresco dining area and a bar area, while the open-air space is laid out as a sunbathing area with sun pads and chairs. Inside on the upper deck, there is a lounge salon fitted out as a cinema / music room, alongside a pantry, a day head, the captain’s cabin and the wheelhouse. Outside on the main deck to aft, the open-air section has a swimming pool, while the section protected by the overhanging deck above has a lounge area and a bar area. Inside on the main deck, there is a dining salon with a bar area, as well as a galley, a day head, and the Owner’s suite, consisting of a private lounge and a master stateroom as well as a walk-in wardrobe and his and hers bathrooms. On the lower deck, the private guest accommodation is located amidships, with two double staterooms and two twin staterooms, each featuring an en suite bathroom.
The crew quarters occupy a forward position with a crew dinette and four crew cabins, each with its own bathroom. The beach club area is located in the stern, consisting of a lounge area with a bar and a gym, a massage space, a hammam and a day head.
In addition to the lift connecting the three decks from the lower deck to the upper deck, the new Superconero 50 M also has a main tender stored in the stern garage and a service/rescue tender stored in the bow garage, as well as a pair of jet skis or waverunners kept in a dedicated space in the
foredeck technical area.
